Success begins with focus
In 2014, China published Outline on Promoting the Development of the National Integrated Circuit Industry and established China IC Industrial Fund, which showed the new premium that government put to this industry. In order to further improve the capabilities of technological innovations and to accelerate the mastering of key technologies in IC industry, Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality published a program guideline for IC projects the 2019Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan. As one of the key industries in China, IC is also experiencing growing market demand. Currently, China is still in a critical stage of the independent R&D of IC. How to optimize the ecosystem of IC industry? How to enhance the synergy between upstream and downstream of the industrial chain such as design, manufacturing, packaging testing and specialized equipment, instrument and material? How to improve the interaction among different participants such as chip, software, machine, system and application? These Challenges have evoked serious concern within the industry.
